Interactive Voice Recognition

Dear Paratransit Rider,
The Paratransit office is in the process of completing installation of new features to our telephone system. These new features will allow you to speak into the phone or use the telephone keypad to get trip information. With these new features you will be able to:
- Review requested trips
- Cancel a trip
We will also be using an automated call-back system. With these new features you will:
- Receive nightly call backs with your scheduled trip information
- Receive a call reminder 15-30 minutes before your trip (on the same day)
Previously a live transportation representative called to confirm your trip information. Now, you will receive a call with an automated voice with your trip information. As always, be sure to keep a pen and paper handy by the phone, or let the call go to voicemail so you can retrieve the information later when it is convenient for you.
If you would like to use the added features you will need the following:
- Phone Number (the telephone number you have on file with PBSI)
- Client ID (the 5-7 digit number listed on your ADA card and eligibility letter)
- Pin Number (the 4 digit year of your birth)
When you contact PBSI, staff will ask you to update your address, telephone number, cell phone number and e-mail address. Please be patient, the success of this project is dependent on correct information. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
